It's all very well-planned. Thanks to Fonatur, the "institution responsible for the planning and development of sustainable tourism projects." And with respect to the Baja Peninsula specifically, there is the vision of the Escalera Nautica, the Nautical Ladder --- a mega project. As of August 2009, this project was HALTED by the Mexican federal government. Yippie! The new Baja Almanac is out!  After being out of print for 4 years and losing both my copies, I ordered 4 to make sure I have a backup and give two away as gifts.

No pictures today.

 Very busy day with a late 10:20 start. Long border lineup due to US Customs checking outbound vehicles! Then on to errands & shopping ... TelCel, Banamex ATMW, say hello to Doctor Avila and get a prescription, replace Volkswagen Jetta windshield, Gusher Farmacia, another ATMW, down to Bahia Cantiles Cantina which was empty and finally to El Pescador Restaurant, where everyone has seemed to migrated to.

Tuesday, November 9

After dinner & drinks, a good night's sleep.

 This morning was a sleep in morning. Then off for a drive to Mount San Diego & to see the sea lions, but none were to be found.

Home via Santa Ana appointment at 11:00 am. Arrived in Desert Hot Springs at 7pm.
